#TalentedTuesday for #BlackMusicMonth DJ Cassidy Featuring R. Kelly “Make the World Go Round”

If you have been reading my blog for the past few months, you know that I have become a huge fan of this celeb DJ turned musical innovator DJ Cassidy and his upcoming album “Paradise Royale” with such amazing singles as “Calling All Hearts” featuring Jessie J and Robin Thicke (with the instrumentals from the band of Earth Wind and Fire) and “Make the World Go Round.” He has been touring with Robin Thicke on his recent “Blurred Lines” tour and building momentum with his brand of feel-good R&B and musician-based instrumentals.

My (Re-Issued) #MCM – Agent Derek Morgan aka the Delicious Shemar F. Moore

In honor of Mr. Shemar F. Moore’s Birthday yesterday, I am re-issuing an older post for this week’s #MCM with his own soundtrack for the occassion:

Ok, I already know that he is playing a character on CBS’ s Criminal Minds but Derek Morgan is pretty impressive (only fans of the show know what I’m talking about).

Smart, sexy, compassionate, and breaking down stereotypes of being an actor and a “pretty boy”, Shermar Moore proves that smart can be sexy on TV.

DJ CASSIDY and IGGY AZALEA – History in the Making

So last week I was browsing the latest music videos on YouTube and was pleasantly surprised by some breakout stars right now – DJ Cassidy’s “Calling All Hearts” featuring Robin Thicke and Jessie J and Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” featuring Charlie XCX.

DJ Cassidy at Madison Square Garden

Now as you know, I have very discerning taste when it comes to music that I love but it seems like these new artists have captured my heart. DJ Cassidy hails from New York and has been a treasured commodity at most celebrity parties like from Diddy, Jay-Z and even Oprah. His upcoming album Paradise Royale ties in the dance music energy of the late 70s and early 80 s pop and R&B music with the current stylings of R. Kelly, Robin Thicke, Jessie J. and more.

Iggy Azalea in "Fancy" Music Video

Iggy Azalea is from Australia with ties to South Florida and has  bitingly powerful rapping skills that rivals Lil Kim or Foxy Brown. Her latest music video “Fancy” dropped a few days ago with over 3 million views already. According to her official website, she is gearing up for an American tour and releasing her new album The New Classic this Spring.
