Ed allegedly finished writing it at his granddad’s funeral and it depicts his suffering with Alzheimers and ultimately his death. Sounds like the A-Team singer could do with a bit of a hug.
It’s a pretty huge contrast to Taylor Swift’s pal’s most recent single Sing, a much more upbeat track which shot to number one.
Sad as it is, the single Afire Love is doing well for the A-Team singer, as it’s already shot to number one in the US iTunes chart. Have a listen above.
