Ticket Prices Soar As Rangers Get Chance To Advance To Stanley Cup Finals

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — The New York Rangers have a chance to advance to the Stanley Cup finals and that means fans wanting to go to Thursday night’s game are going to have to pay a pretty penny.

“People are dying to see this team back in the Stanley Cup finals,” said Connor Gregoire at Seat Geek.

Ticket prices for Thursday’s game at Madison Square Garden are soaring.

“It’s jumped about 20 percent the average ticket price the last couple of days. It’s now about $800,” Gregoire said.

The cheapest ticket is going for about $350.

“These prices are a little bit higher even than what we saw for games 3 and 4,” Gregoire said. “That’s really saying something because last week, there was a frenzy.”
